Image steganography using huffman coding and dwt

The project entitled ‘Steganography using DWT and Huffman Coding’ is a matlab based programming to implement image Steganography. The art and science of writing hidden messages in such a way that no one, apart from the sender and intended recipient, suspects the existence of the message, a form of security through obscurity is obtained through the process termed as Steganography. This project presents a novel technique for Image Steganography based on DWT and Huffman coding. DWT is used to transform original image (cover image) from spatial domain to frequency domain.
