Each Country has its own traditions and norms. But a same concept called “Green Consumerism” is replicated in different countries. Green Consumerism is a unique way in which consumer show their responsibility towards the society by buying eco-friendly products. This aspect involves a great consumers’ responsibility towards their consumption choices. This paper deals with the various issues related to the Green Consumption. It reveals the growth of Green concept and its future projection. We as individuals, despite of our income, occupation & interests should develop an environmentally sustainable world. Our consumption behaviour and purchase decisions have a high impact in our future generations. Green principles should be widely shared which guides not only private individual behaviour but also the policy making and daily practice of governmental, legislative and regulatory bodies.
