FOR DEVELOPMET OF ACOUSTIC PROOF

In  this  present  study  APFRC  blocks  were  made  using  textile  wastes  generated  from  spinning  and  weaving  industries  and  used  newspapers.  The  waste  papers  were  ground  with water to form a pulp. Waste fibres (Cotton, Jute, Coir and its blends) were reinforced with ground pulp and made into blocks and were dried at room temperature for 48 hours.   The  APFRC  blocks  were  found  with  porous  and  due  to  the  porous  effect,  sound absorption property was found to be  enhanced. It is eco friendly, can be an alternate material for costly wall coverings. Manufacturing cost is very low and can be produced at larger scale for commercial purpose.
