1-BIT COMPARATOR USING SINGLE ELECTRON TRANSISTOR

Now a day’s digital signals are very useful for fast response. This project deals with the digital or binary comparators, which are made up of AND, NOT and NOR gates. This compares the digital signals at their input terminals ad produces an output depending upon the condition of the applied input signals. The bit comparators are now a day’s uses in many digital circuits.
In this project I construct a single electron based 1-bit comparator. This comparator was implemented using SIMON2.0 software. This circuit consumes less power and occupies less area because of single electron transistors was used to implement.
INTRODUCTION
The single electron transistor is a nanoscale transistor. This device based on the coulomb blockade principle. These devices consume less power and occupy less area. These also operate at low temperature and low control voltages.
The digital or binary comparator are made up from standard AND, NOR and NOT gates that compare the digital signals at their input terminals and produces an output depending upon the condition of the input signals. If we implement a bit comparator using this single electron transistor the area occupation in ICs is very less because of nanoscale device.
