Project Description :

The objective is to achieve the goals of the cryptography i.e. Authentication and Authorization in a network. This is cryptography used will be based on the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm( ECDSA).

 

The main objectives are described below:

1.      Establish a connection

 

      Here we can use any of the networking architecture. Basically with a client-server         architecture.    

 

2.      Elliptic curve Key generation using ECDH

              

This is used to establish a symmetric cryptography requires a secret key to be agreed upon before the cryptographic process starts. This is performed by the elliptic curve Diffie - Hellman key exchange method.

 

3.      Encryption / Decryption  

 

       In this part an encryption/decryption is developed using Elliptic curves finite fields.   

 

4.      Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA)

 

      This is the elliptical format of DSA. The process consists of two main steps: signature generation and signature verification.
